A native of New York, Krishan Oberoi has appeared professionally at music festivals the world over; these include the Tanglewood Music Festival, the Berkshire Choral Festival, the Newport Jazz Festival, the Bonn Beethoven Festival, and the European Music Festival (Stuttgart).

Mr. Oberoi received his Master’s degree in conducting from the Yale School of Music in 2006. He currently resides in Southern California, where he directs the professional choral ensemble SACRA / PROFANA (which he founded in 2008). Mr. Oberoi is also on staff at the University of San Diego and San Diego State University, and is a regular performer at Los Angeles’ Walt Disney Concert Hall.
