An accomplished vocalist, Krishan Oberoi has sung professionally in many parts of the world. under some of the world's most renowned conductors. In 2001 and 2002 he toured extensively in Europe as a member of the International Festival Ensemble under German conductor Helmuth Rilling. Highlights include appearances at the European Music Festival, the Bonn Beethoven Festival, and the Akropolis in Athens, Greece. In 2002, Krishan appeared in a nationally-televised 4th of July performance with the Boston Pops, in which he sang backup for pop star Barry Manilow. In 2004, Krishan participated in a Newport Music Festival performance with legendary jazz pianist Dave Brubeck. From 2004-2006, Krishan was a member of the Yale Schola Cantorum, giving several concerts throughout the Northeast U.S., as well as in England, Hungary & Mexico. Krishan appears on three commercial recordings as a member of this ensemble: J.S Bach's St. John Passion (1725 version), Heinrich Biber's Vespers and Antonio Bertali's Missa Ressurectionis, all recorded with the Collegium Players under renowned violinist Robert Mealey. In 2008, Krishan became a member of the Grammy-nominated Los Angeles Master Chorale, performing regularly at the Walt Disney Concert Hall in downtown L.A.

Krishan has been a frequent tenor soloist in both oratorio and operetta, and has won favorable reviews for performances in such works as Handel's Messiah and Bach's Magnificat. He has appeared in numerous operas as well, in both solo and chorus roles; these include Fidelio (Bonn, Germany), Nixon In China (Opera Boston), Emily (Pasadena Playhouse) and Peter Grimes (Tanglewood Music Festival).
